A celebration in the heart of Carlton
Make a day of the birthday. Our venue at 69 Pelham Street is a short walk from Carlton Gardens, home to Melbourne Museum and the Royal Exhibition Building, with Lygon Street’s cafés close by.

Pair your VR celebration with a stroll through the gardens and some time outdoors before or after the party.
Explore Melbourne Museum or admire the Royal Exhibition Building nearby—an easy way to extend a family day out.
Parents can grab a coffee on nearby Lygon Street before or after the session, or bring everyone together for a bite after the celebration.
“Our almost 7yo and turning 9yo (Birthday Fun) and 2x dads had the best fun for 1hr and free trial or Tower Tag!! Rocked the socks off.”
“It was amazing, we took our 10yo for her B’Day. She had a ball. Great set-up, good choice of options and nice service. We will be back for sure, so much fun!”
Our VR adventures are loads of fun and laughter, especially for close friends or family. They are the ultimate bonding experience (surviving a zombie apocalypse or escaping from a haunted mansion together?), uniquely different and sure to be memorable. They are specially curated for birthdays.
We have prepared a special birthday plan which are very popular with parents wishing an unforgettable birthday for their child and friends. Guests are free to choose from any of our VR experiences (although we generally recommend 12 or above for our VR Escape Games as they can be too challenging for younger children).
Generally, 8 years old is the recommended minimum age to enjoy our VR games, or 127cm and above in height, but a lot is dependent on individual development and proficiency, and the level of adult guidance.
It is possible for younger children to try VR, but it has to be done strictly under close adult supervision. There is also a higher possibility that the VR gear may not fit younger children well, that they may not meet the physical requirements of the games, or that they may not be able to fully understand and appreciate the games.
(Age suitability may vary between different games, please feel free to check with our staff).
Outside food and non-alcoholic beverages are allowed to be consumed within VRWorld for kids birthday parties.
For the cake, we do have a long bench with chairs that the kids can sit together to relax, you can even bring more food for the kids to eat in the shop. If you’re considering keeping the cake cold, we have a soft drink fridge where we could make some space for you to put in the cake.
You are most welcome to do so ?
If you wanna come in to the shop in person to check our equipment and environment, our staffs can give you more specific explanations.
